Yesterday Morning at about 11am… The Differently Abled Foundation in partnership with I-Care Intiative, gave out Four Manual Wheelchairs to people who really need them.
Two of the chairs went to children of the school for The Physically Challenged Ikare Akoko Ondo State. One to the Captain Disability Sports in Ondo State and the last one to a Joint Association of Persons Living With Disability Ondo State Chapter Member ( JONAPWD).
Without these wheelchairs, these people would literally have to crawl. The kids had to borrow chairs to get to the venue. The JONAPWD Member came on a bike and we had to use one of the kids borrowed wheelchairs to cart her to the venue. Yes it was that bad.
I also saw others who came with the hope of making us know they would want chairs in the nearest future. This field is wide but the laborers are few.
We also identified indigent deaf children whose parents can’t afford to give any form of assistance except send to school only. We provided them with Provisions, Toiletries, Sanitary Towels, and some other Personal Effects. We planned to do more but we didn’t get enough money. So we used what we got to cover for the 10 children.
Dear Lord, I bless you for I-Care Initiatives, I bless you for Get Educated Foundation, and I bless you for all my other donors who have chosen to be Annonymous. May the good Lord take you to greater heights!!! We thank the Principal Mr. Ologbese for his support, we thank God for the Principal of the School for the Physical Challenged. She brought these kids all the way from Ikare and on time too.

We need motorized chairs, we need Walkers, We need all forms of disabilty aids for our people. We need a lot more but we are grateful for the little we get.
