Olusegun Akingboye: Triumph Over Adversity

Meet Olusegun Akingboye, affectionately known as Bruna of the ancient Idanre Kingdom. Born in 1970, his early years were marked by tragedy and adversity. At just two years old, a sudden illness robbed him of the ability to walk, changing the course of his life forever. Despite his parents’ best efforts, fate dealt another cruel blow, leaving Olusegun orphaned by the tender age of four.

Left to navigate the world on his own, Bruna’s resilience and determination became his guiding light. With sheer grit and perseverance, he defied the odds, finding solace in a mobile bike at age seventeen, marking the beginning of a new chapter in his life.
